WHITEFIELD TAX LIMITED

ADMINISTRATOR AND RECEPTIONIST

This is a critical role in a busy accounting and tax office.

Based in Brading, our offices are open 9am to 3pm weekdays.

We are recruiting for 12 hours a week:

  • 9am to 3pm Mondays
  • Midday to 3pm Wednesdays and Thursdays

Some flexibility would be useful to cope with changes in business requirements.

The remuneration is £13/hour.

The successful candidate will be:

  • IT literate and confident
  • Sound knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Sage knowledge useful
  • Personable and confident in dealing with public
  • Happy to work unsupervised

Previous experience in customer facing administration necessary, ideally in a professional office environment.

The role does not encompass the provision of professional services, so an accountancy and tax background is not necessary, although literacy in the area would be useful.

Key Duties:

  • Staffing Reception and answering phone calls
  • Incoming and outgoing post handling
  • Logging and secure storage of clients accounting records in office
  • Maintenance of client databases and files
  • Workflow Management
  • Preparing Service Level Agreements for clients
  • Credit Control and Sales Ledger Accounting
  • Supporting the management team within the business cycle, in association with the varying needs of clients and the business
  • Supporting the office manager for the smooth running of the office and all administrative functions
