Your Opportunity:
Join the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Site Administration team for this exciting opportunity, as an Administrative Support IV. In this role, you support the Director of Emergency, Respiratory & Cardiology, ICU and Medicine and the Director of Surgical Services and their respective portfolios. This is a multi-skilled position that works in a dynamic environment utilizing enhanced skills to perform varied and/or specialized activities. Work at this level requires enhanced problem solving, proficient skills and experience gained through education and significant on-the-job training. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Some post-secondary education.

Proficiency with office applications including but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Proficiency with collaboration platforms including but not limited to: Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Professional communication skills written, verbal, and spoken. Ability to work within a team setting and also independently with minimal direction. Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks, and be flexible and adaptable to emerging priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful completion of a post-secondary administrative support program from an accredited business school/college. Recent experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting in the last 5 years is an asset.
