We have an exciting opportunity for a relief part-time Administrative Services Assistant to join our team in Ashcroft, B.C. This position works Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00.

What Will You Work On?

In this role, you will perform a variety of reception, administrative, and Health Unit Aide support duties including:

  1. Data entry including gathering, organizing, collecting, collating, and verifying information, typing correspondence
  2. Preparing presentations, arranging meetings, transcribing minutes, booking travel, and record management
  3. Scheduling and confirming client appointments as well as receiving, recording, and checking balances of cash transactions
  4. Maintaining and cleaning medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material
  5. Cleaning, setting up, and dismantling rooms, cleaning/sanitizing toys and equipment
  6. Weighing and measuring babies, calibrating equipment, vision screenings

Qualifications

Education, Training & Experience

  1. Grade 12
  2. Certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program, plus
  3. One year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  4. Current valid BC Driver’s License.
  5. Ability to type at 40 words per minute.
