Position Summary
Williams Lake Mental Health has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Administrative Services Assistant to join their team!

This is a relief full-time position until June 2025 or return of incumbent. This position works Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

What Will You Work On?
In this role you will perform a variety of reception, administrative and Health Unit Aide support duties including:
  1. Data entry including gathering, organizing, collecting, collating and verifying information, typing correspondence
  2. Preparing presentations, arranging meetings, transcribing minutes, booking travel, and record management
  3. Scheduling and confirming client appointments as well as receiving, recording and checking balances of cash transactions
  4. Maintaining and cleaning medical/surgical supplies, equipment and HCIS resource material
  5. Cleaning, setting up and dismantling rooms, cleaning/sanitizing toys and equipment
  6. Weighing and measuring babies, calibrating equipment, vision screenings

Qualifications
Education, Training & Experience
  1. Grade 12
  2. Graduation from a recognized Office Administration Certificate Program, plus one year of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  3. Completion of a Typing Test at 40 wpm dated within the past 24 months and must be issued from a valid institution only. (NON-SUPERVISED TESTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED)
  4. Current valid BC Driver's License
