Administrative Officer - Property Management - Ottawa, Canada - Interrent Holdings Manager Limited Partnership

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Interrent Holdings Manager Limited Partnership. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our property management company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative assistance to the management team, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Project Coordination
  • Coordinate and implement new administrative procedures, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Review and evaluate administrative procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Office Management
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including budgeting, inventory management, and data entry.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Training and Development
  • Train staff on new administrative procedures and systems.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
  • 5 years or more of experience in administrative roles, preferably in property management or a related field.
  • Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management software and Yardi system.
