Job description

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Administrative/Labour Market Information Assistant would be responsible for the activities identified below:

Part One: Office Administration

Duties:

  • Control and organize office supplies stock
  • Schedule in-house and external events, maintain corporate calendar and book meeting room
  • Record and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Manage important and confidential company documents
  • Manage company databases
  • Provide support to directors, clients, employees and consultants
  • Review and update office policies as needed
  • Manage correspondence (including letters, emails and packages)
  • Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Create reports and presentations with statistical data as assigned

Part Two: Labour Market Information Support

Duties:

  • Assist the LMI Analyst with the development of the Local Labour Market Planning (LLMP) Report and LMI Help Desk requests
  • Produce a monthly LMI bulletin
  • Other duties as required
