Join our growing team as an Administrative Assistant and be a key part of our expanding Student Enrollment Team! Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  1. Crafting professional and customer-friendly letters and emails on behalf of team members as needed.
  2. Responding promptly and courteously to emails, phone calls, and inquiries, ensuring a positive experience for students and colleagues.
  3. Performing administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, faxing, and scanning with efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Organizing and maintaining both digital and manual filing systems to ensure easy access to important information.
  5. Providing clear, accurate, and helpful information to students and colleagues while handling sensitive data with confidentiality.
  6. Continuously improving administrative processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  7. Assisting with key student-focused events, including graduation coordination and orientation sessions for first- and second-year students.
  8. Working collaboratively with the Student Advisory Services (SAS) team and Faculty to provide exceptional support and guidance to students.

Education and Experience

  1. Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration from a recognized institution.
  2. Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a customer-focused environment.
  3. At least two years of customer service experience, with a strong ability to engage and support students, clients, or customers.
  4. Strong knowledge of office administration procedures and best practices.
  5. Previous experience in a sales or customer service setting is considered an asset.

Skills and Competencies

  1. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling.
  2. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing needs.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  4. Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure smooth operations.
  5. Keen attention to detail to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
  6. Professional and friendly telephone etiquette.
  7. Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and faculty.
  8. Commitment to delivering excellent service while working under pressure.
  9. Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure smooth workflow.
