The Administration Supervisor is responsible for the effective operation of the Administration Team within the Service Centre division. This individual oversees and executes the team’s daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that deadlines are met while providing exceptional service to internal and external customers. The Administration Team is a crucial part of the division that supports multiple internal departments and assists with various task completion that is pivotal to the success of the division.
Position Functions
Direct and advise the Service Centre Administration team
Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
Establish priorities to meet deadlines and ensure procedures are followed efficiently
Execute daily team tasks as required
Oversee the Quote/Order Entry Process
Oversee the Invoicing Process
Oversee Reception duties including Mail Sorting, Office Supply Management and Multi-line Phone System
Oversee Order Allocation & Post Production transactions
Record team attendance and coordinate vacation coverage
Maintain communication between the necessary department managers
Coordinate cross training within the department
Troubleshoot and report daily issues as they arise to Administration Manager
Ensure department operates in a safe and respectful manner
Supervise and report team performance to Administration Manager
Assist Sales and Purchasing departments with administrative projects as required
Lead by example and provide positive motivation to the team
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be working 40+ hours per week in an office setting. On-going use of computer is required. Travel within the Niagara region may be required on occasion.
Physical Requirements
Significant desk work with light walking and possible light lifting

The successful candidate must have the ability to supervise a team of 6+ people.

Preferred Qualifications
Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or an acceptable combination of education and relevant working experience
2+ Years of Demonstrated People Leadership experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Experience with Google Suite considered an asset
Efficient multi-tasking ability
Strong sense of independence
Effective organization and delegation skillsets
Well defined professional communication skills (written and verbal)
