We are currently seeking an Administration Hub Lead to oversee our central admin hub. Your work week will be divided among our hub locations, including: Bull Green House (HX1 2EB), Elland Community Hub (HX5 9DL), and the Pellon Hub (HX2 0QA). You will play a vital role in managing and supporting a dedicated administration team. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. You will collaborate with various teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain operational excellence, all while upholding our organization's values. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Please note that this position is a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months.

Outline Of Key Responsibilities For The Administration Hub Lead:

  • Provide effective leadership and management of the administration Hub service in the specified service delivery area, managing and supporting Administration officers to achieve high levels of motivation, morale & communication to provide a high-quality service.
  • Ensure staff are empowered to the appropriate levels and are held accountable for their performance & behaviour, addressing this where needed.
  • Carry out monthly 121’s and carry out annual career conversations with each staff member.
  • Work with the management team to achieve a continuous improvement culture by developing new ideas and seeking best practice.
  • Work with other managers, coordinators & service delivery teams, support coordinators/managers to complete risk assessments relating to community Hubs.
  • Responsibility for all operational performance and for the work of the administration team to ensure performance targets are met or exceeded and where not, corrective action is taken.
  • Ensure staff are fully trained for the tasks they are undertaking.
  • Provide flexible administration support to Newground Together delivery teams in order to deliver high performance and customer satisfaction across the business.
  • Support with the smooth and efficient running of the community Hubs/premises at Newground Together.
  • Raising concerns & issues with Community Hubs to relevant Coordinator/Manager.
  • Collating monthly performance data from Community venues.
  • Providing a warm welcoming community hub which can signpost customers to local services as required.
  • To carry out any such duties as may be requested by the business systems & quality assurance Manager which are commensurate with the level of responsibility attached to this post.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Must be able to access hub locations, which include: Bull Green House (HX1 2EB), Elland Community Hub (HX5 9DL), and the Pellon Hub (HX2 0QA).
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Experience of working with a broad range of customers.
  • Proven experience of providing comprehensive administration service within a team environment.
  • To demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure, delivering high quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to compile reports, papers & presentations.

In return, we are offering the successful candidate in the Administration Hub Lead Role:

  • Starting salary of £26,862.
  • Annual pay scale increase.
  • 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years’ service) + bank holidays.
