Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the TARP (Technology Asset Reconciliation Process) department by working with his/her team members to effectively and efficiently perform the specified shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions within our TFS department.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Be accountable for the day-to-day accurate and efficient shipping and receiving services for all Scotiabank’s assets (domestic and international) in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate database recording and efficient control on inventory stored in the Bank’s storage areas as well as all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Collaborate with other teams within Scotiabank as well as external Bank partners to ensure all received and shipped assets are processed expeditiously.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.
- Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive work environment.

- Knowledge of inventory control, shipping and receiving, and logistics.
- Working PC skills with Microsoft O365 suite.
Working Conditions
The Administration Clerk, Inventory Storage works in a production receiving and shipping environment. The position is physical with frequent lifting of heavy objects/boxes (up to 50 lbs.). There can be stress from tight deadlines and service obligations, requirements, and changing role.
