About the Role
Your primary responsibility is to support building and enhancing valuation tools in Power BI. You will work with actuaries to understand their needs for financial reporting and risk management. As part of the global valuation team, we create global standard reporting tools that are used by Swiss Re Life & Health valuation actuaries across the globe. Such tools include not only analytical tools on cashflows and reserves, but also a dashboard type of reports that provides key performance indicators (KPIs) to support senior management in making informed decisions. You will be supporting more senior actuaries in the team to develop such tools, partnering with the IT team.

About the Team
Actuarial Operations and Solutions (AOS) plans, builds, operates, and improves Swiss Re's global systems and processes for Life & Health business. We own and operate Swiss Re's largest application and database which is used by regional valuation teams, Finance, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, and other business-steering departments. We comprehend business challenges in order to provide solutions and make strategic decisions that will help the valuation landscape in preparing for the future by launching or supporting projects. We have about 15 team members spread across the globe, including Toronto, Armonk, Bangalore, London, and Zurich. Our strengths stem from the diverse backgrounds and skills of our team members including actuarial (pricing, valuation, AXIS modelling, product development, risk management), testing, information technology, and project management.
We have a small team atmosphere which fosters support and inclusion, both critical to creating a creative and collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity to join a knowledgeable team with breadth of both technical and non-technical experience.
