Job Summary:

This role is part of the Corporate Actuarial function at the Group level. You will be responsible for providing multi-disciplinary actuarial information, advice, and services to support effective reserving and reporting to regulatory bodies in various international jurisdictions. Responsibilities include developing reserving and actuarial/statistical models, conducting detailed actuarial analyses, and contributing to business development, management, and change activities.

Responsibilities / Duties:

  1. Assist in conducting quarterly loss reserve reviews for the Global Markets and Reinsurance segments of the Group.
  2. Perform detailed actuarial analyses, including working with complex or partial data to deliver timely, accurate, insightful, and commercially appropriate outputs.
  3. Assist with planning, forecasting, and reinsurance renewals.
  4. Assist with the preparation of annual profitability studies.
  5. Perform industry research and analysis of parameters and methodologies.
  6. Enhance procedures to audit reports for accuracy.

Qualifications:

  1. University degree in actuarial science or related field.
  2. At least one actuarial exam.
  3. 0-2 years of experience in the P&C actuarial field.
  4. Proficiency with Excel.
  5. Experience with R, ResQ, and/or SAS is beneficial.
  6. Skilled at dealing with concepts and complexities comfortably.
  7. Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner.
  8. Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.
  9. Strong work ethic and integrity.
