Position Description

We currently have an exciting role for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk in our Timmins, ON location.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Assist with generating and sending customer statements
2. Posting customer payments to accounts
3. Processing credit card and auto withdrawal payments
4. Preparation of daily bank deposits
5. Electronic filing of AR documents
6. Reconciliation and review of customer accounts
7. Assist in customer collections
8. Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, reconciliations, reporting, etc.
9. Prepare AR adjustments for approval
10. Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

1. 1-2 years administrative experience
2. Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
3. Experience with Sage 300/Trux software would be considered an asset
4. Knowledge in all Microsoft Office Programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
5. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
6. Exceptional communication and organizational skills
7. Experience in the transportation or waste industry considered an asset
