Accounts Receivable Analyst
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for centralized Head Office accounts receivable functions, international sales administration, decentralized regional sales branch administration, monthly financial reporting and reconciliations, assisting with inventory quantity and costing accuracy, various analysis and project work.
Key responsibilities include:
- All facets of manufacturing accounts receivable, including credit granting, payment application, customer account monitoring and collections.
- International sales division administrator.
- Assist regional sales branch administration across Canada in basic accounting and accounts receivable processes including collections.
- Interact with customers and sales branch administration to resolve outstanding issues.
- Prepare and maintain various reports.
- Reconciling and analysis of accounts.
- Preparing and posting journal entries.
- Concur travel expense reports processing.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with accounts receivable and accrual based general ledger accounting.
- Strong understanding of Excel. Proficient in Excel with a strong understanding of its functions and capabilities.
- Working knowledge of Dynamics GP (Great Plains), Syteline, IFS, or equivalent accounting software is an asset.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines.
