Explore your next role:
As a key member of the Accounting & Corporate Administration Department, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will be reporting to the Director, Accounting & Corporate Administration, and will be responsible for duties related to AP and AR support for the Finance group. Please note it’s an 8-month contract role.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure appropriate routing of inbound invoices using SharePoint for timely coding and approval, with eventual processing and posting in our accounting system.
  • Ensure timely communication back to vendors on all account inquiries.
  • Facilitate monthly Pcard reconciliations of all cardholder accounts and review of activity for appropriate support of receipts, approvals, and codes.
  • Facilitate monthly reconciliation of the WFS fuel dealer account.
  • Reconcile invoices related to the Company uniform program in accordance with the established process.
  • Maintain postage meter and deliver outgoing mail to Materials.
  • Support month end close items related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
  • Ensure monthly expenses are posted and captured correctly, accrue for expenses as necessary to ensure spend is captured in the appropriate month.
  • Assist internal and external audit with walk through and testing of specified tasks as required.

  • Completion of post-secondary education is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess keen computer skills and be comfortable navigating through related applications.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated.

Eligibility:
You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
