Accounts Payable Analyst

Agilus is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Analyst in the Oil and Gas Industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. We are seeking an experienced AP Analyst with strong problem-solving skills. The AP Analyst will be managing utility accounts and reviewing invoices.

A day in the life:

• Downloading, coding and processing utility statements
• Validating and processing invoices
• Following up on invoice exceptions as required
• Reviewing and processing invoices with holdbacks and withholding tax
• Supporting the resolution of invoice and payment issues
• Other Accounts Payable tasks as required

Successful candidates will have:

• 5+ years of AP work experience
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
• Strong SAP work knowledge and data entry skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage a large volume of transactions within tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Accounting knowledge including withholding tax, taxes, and holdbacks
• Oil and gas experience

Total rewards:

• Contract position until March 2026
• Pay rate: $27 - $30 (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday - hybrid work schedule
• Location: Downtown, Calgary
