In support of our continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position will give you the opportunity to work close to home while collecting a highly competitive wage.
The Ideal Candidate Must:
- Have multiple years experience in high volume AP/AR
- Have extensive experience working with Quickbooks Desktop & Online
- Experience in dealing with USD currency, processing ACH, and or Wire Transfers as needed
- Maintain many vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.
- Perform data entry associated with accounts payable and receivable.
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
- Audit and process credit card bills.
- Address and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Maintain precise records of all incoming payments.
- Prepare and send monthly account statements to clients.
- Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments.
- Contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile irregularities in receipts.
- Work collaboratively with controller to ensure accuracy in finances.
- Process and Remit GST.
- Maintain and complete all bank account reconciliations on time each month.
- Generate and deliver reports to Controller as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Have a desire and ability to work collaboratively with others in the company to accomplish goals.
