ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Accounting Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN to work day shifts. KISAAN DIE TECH NORTH AMERICA, LTD. is a precision machine shop based in Stittsville, ON. Working at our company, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the production manager and learn valuable skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
2. Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
3. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
4. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
5. Reconcile accounts

Hours of Work: Generally 30 to 35 hours per week, primarily day shifts but may occasionally include afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Hourly Wage: $34.07 hourly and overtime pay as required by the Employment Standards Act, 2000.

Employment Requirements:
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
• Must speak English
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
