Responsibilities
  1. Record payments and prepare bank reconciliation, identify and investigate any banking discrepancies and reconcile unidentified payments.
  2. Process refunds for overpayments, bid deposits, post-sale adjustments, and tax credits.
  3. Create invoices to bill customers, consignors, and inter-company subsidiaries.
  4. Review the aging of accounts receivable and set up allowance for doubtful accounts (AFDA) in accordance with company policy.
  5. Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
  6. Investigate and resolve any unpaid post-sale settlements.
  7. Perform monthly reconciliations.
  8. Review contractual agreements.
  9. Verify and process consignment files to create settlement statements and issue accurate payment for consignments in accordance with the company’s contractual obligations.
  10. Liaise with Search and Review departments to continually monitor files ready for settlement statements, post-sale changes, and corrections for price adjustments, deductions, and bill for deficiencies.
  11. Run and analyze lien searches.
  12. Assist sites in collection efforts.
  13. Ability to work additional hours as needed.

Qualifications
  1. 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred in an accounting or finance role.
  2. Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Salesforce).
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  6. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Excellent time management skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.
  9. Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  10. Demonstrated experience working well as a member of a team.
  11. A solid work ethic, without sacrificing your sense of humor or your ability to have fun on the job.
  12. Hybrid role.
  13. Compensation for this position starts at: $51,600.00.
