About the Company

An innovative and fast-growing company in the health, life sciences, and biomedical research sector is seeking a Finance & Accounting Lead to manage its financial operations. This is a mission-driven organization working to support patients affected by cognitive disorders through cutting-edge research and health solutions. The group includes multiple related entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and bookkeeping for multiple entities
• Month-end closings and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze monthly/annual financial statements
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure financial compliance
• Manage cash flow and liquidity
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Provide strategic financial insights to leadership
• Contribute to some HR tasks (onboarding, benefits)

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is an asset)
• 5+ years of experience, ideally in a multi-entity setup (health, tech, research, or professional services)
• Strong understanding of accounting, tax, and ERP systems
• Experience with grants and tax credits (e.g., SR&ED)
• Strategic thinker with solid analytical and communication skills
• Bilingual: Fluent English required; French at ~80% fluency is great — no need for perfection
