Accounting Clerk
Klondike Chevrolet Buick GMC is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Accounting Clerk. We are looking for a positive and self-motivated person who enjoys problem solving. The most important requirement of the position is attention to detail and the willingness to learn.
Accountng Clerk Job Responsibilities:
Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing cheques, and resolving invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Reconciling accounts receivable
This is a full-time position 5 days per week, 8 Hour shifts. Klondike Chev offers extended health benefits, RRSP contributions and more.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma, or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
Previous accounts payable experience preferred
