About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall accounting operations of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable.
  2. Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation.
  3. Help with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
  4. Maintain organized financial records, including receipts and transaction logs.
  5. Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and assist with audits.
  6. Provide support for other accounting tasks as needed, such as payroll processing and budget tracking.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in accounting or related roles is an asset but not required.
  2. High school diploma is an asset but not required.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
  4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  5. Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  6. Reliable and punctual.
