As an Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare deposits and respond to direct deposit requests, as needed
  • Initiate contact with customers through phone calls, emails, and letters to collect overdue payments
  • Issue Credit and Debit Memos for short/over-payments of invoices and account adjustments
  • Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or disputes with customers, working to ensure that accounts are cleared in a timely manner
  • Provide regular reports on aged receivables, collections progress, and any accounts requiring escalated action
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports
  • Issue monthly customer invoices and statements
  • Contact customers to discuss billing issues and collect overdue payments
  • Provide support to other team members and during audits
  • Maintain files and records

What we’re looking for:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration
  • One to two years’ experience in accounts receivable or accounting
  • Clear understanding of accounting procedures
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and accountable
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; bilingual French is preferred
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting software; experience with Sage 500 and D365 would be an asset
  • Ability to work well within a team
