The CPC is a non-profit, private organization with 28 member sports organizations dedicated to strengthening the Paralympic Movement.
Job Summary
As the Account Manager, Partnerships, you will lead the management of CPC’s Commercial Partners, ensuring excellent Partner servicing, the development of aligned objectives, and the planning and execution of mutually beneficial Partner activations. Working closely with internal teams at the CPC (including our Marketing & Communications Team, the Paralympic Foundation of Canada, and our Sport Team), you will oversee best-in-class activations for our Partners, and will be responsible for ideation, delivery and measurement of partnership initiatives. You will champion the importance of values-alignment for our Partners and deliver purpose-driven partnerships that support CPC’s strategic vision. You will contribute to the development and advancement of partnership strategy and will play a critical role in the CPC’s understanding of our Partners, lead engagement efforts, and ensure strong relationships across all levels of the business from operational to leadership. You will see the growth potential of Paralympic sport and bring proactivity and innovation to the Partnerships team.

Salary: $60,000-$67,000 annually based on experience plus benefits
Location: Remote within Canada, with travel to Ottawa.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Partner Servicing & Relationship Management
- Lead the management of CPC’s Commercial Partners, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction through strong, enduring relationships.
- Collaborate with Partners to set, monitor, and evaluate mutually beneficial goals that align with CPC’s vision.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions and provide comprehensive quarterly and annual reporting on partnership activations.
- Build efficient and effective processes to ensure knowledge sharing within CPC.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment within CPC to maximize partnership value and impact.
- Track and report on the success of activations, ensuring outcomes align with both Partner and CPC goals.
- Support renewal strategies and execution for Commercial Partners to drive long-term success.
Strategic Alignment:
- Ensure all partnerships contribute to CPC’s strategic objectives, both short-term and long-term.
- Focus on creating partnerships that align with CPC’s values and drive purpose-led impact for both CPC and its Partners.
- Contribute to the development of initiatives and programs that align with CPC’s strategic goals, particularly around Best Prepared Teams and the Power of Inclusion.
Collaboration with the Communications & Brand team:
- Ideate innovative social and digital opportunities that deliver measurable value and enhance engagement aligning to Partnership and CPC objectives.
- Establish and nurture positive, proactive relationships with Partners, guiding the integration of the Paralympic brand into their activations to maximize visibility and impact.
- Oversee and ensure that all marketing materials produced for Partners adhere to CPC’s branding guidelines, maintaining brand integrity across all touchpoints.
- Monitor Partnership activity ensuring CPC is proactively briefed and prepared, particularly for press and publicity opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Supports the planning and delivery of CPC led events (Including but not limited to ParaTough Cup, domestic hospitality events).
- Supports the wider Revenue Generation team by delivering a Games time role which will be defined on a Games-by-Games basis.
- Supports on Business Development strategy and research as required by the team.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a non-profit organization or corporate environment.
- University/post-secondary education, preferably in business, marketing or sport administration.
- Proven experience in Account Management and strong record in developing positive and successful Partner relationships.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining robust processes, and delivering impact in fast-paced organizations.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Evident interest in Sport, Sport Marketing and Sponsorship with knowledge of the Canadian sport system considered an asset.
- Experience working with organizations that deliver Social Impact is seen as an asset.
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proven business acumen, including confidence in presenting and leading meetings.
- Enjoys innovation and demonstratively proactive.
- Proficiency with MS Office, and Project Management tools such as Asana.
- Committed to ongoing professional development.
- Must hold a valid passport at all times.
- Ability to communicate in Canada’s two official languages is considered an asset.

Working Conditions
- This position requires overnight travel to sites within Canada (e.g., Games, Events, partner meetings, etc.).
- Staff will be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods, including during Games time and other special events.
- Partnerships team members will be expected to travel across Canada regularly, and sometimes internationally to support Games operations.
