About the Role

Essity Health and Medical Solutions is looking for an experienced Account Manager for Long Term care and Acute Care channels. Responsible for providing ongoing support, implementing business strategies, innovative technologies, and solutions of care to achieve profitable business relationships and develop new revenue opportunities. Responsibilities include promoting Tena incontinence, JOBST compression, orthopedics products, and Advanced wound care products within all channels and customers.

The ideal candidate should live in Montreal, covering Montreal to Laval, Quebec.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with accounts to promote brand awareness and secure profitable business.

  • Engage customers on contracts awarded and generate clinical trials.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific sales plans and marketing programs to meet/exceed sales targets. Collaborate with internal and external partners to successfully represent and grow the Essity business.

  • Serve as the primary contact for all products and services, creating interest and demand for ESSITY products while promoting best practices in the Acute & LTC sectors. Conduct commissioning, support ongoing training, and provide corporate presentations and business reviews for customers.

  • Recommend products and services that meet customer needs. Collaborate in the development of training and education programs for various target therapies.

  • Collaborate with the RSD to ensure channel growth, business strategy implementation, and contract negotiations including terms and conditions.

  • Frequently analyze customer information to discover and manage business risks and opportunities.

  • Work closely with the Quebec team to support regional business, assist with training, and collaborate on new programs and initiatives.

Who You Are

  • University Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years relevant experience in business, sales, or healthcare industry.

  • Advanced wound care and/or compression experience preferred.

  • Strategic thinking skills and understanding of account profitability.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to develop sales and business development plans and deliver these plans.

  • Solid understanding of the whole value chain of business development.

  • Good PPT & Excel utilization.

  • Advanced knowledge of the products and services offered.

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a motor vehicle is required.

  • Must be available to travel outside the province 1-2 times per year.

  • Fluent Bilingual (French & English).
