SALARY: Negotiable - Combination of Base Salary & Commission

Clearwave is an Internet Service Provider based in Edmonton, Alberta, providing high speed internet service to residential and commercial customers across the Alberta capital region and throughout many rural communities across Alberta. Clearwave uses a combination of fixed wireless and fibre infrastructure to deliver high quality, low latency internet services ranging in speed from 25 Mbps – 1 Gbps+.

JOB SUMMARY

Clearwave is seeking a driven sales professional to join our team as Account Executive. Reporting to Clearwave’s Director of Sales & Business Development, the Account Executive will be responsible for driving new residential and commercial revenue across Clearwave’s markets. Using a combination of sales acumen and exceptional communication skills, the Account Executive will solicit new customers both in person and by phone as well as close inbound sales leads and upgrade requests from new and existing residential and business customers. The Account Executive will contribute to the overall success of the company by not only increasing new revenue from both new and existing customers across our existing markets but help us better understand opportunities for expansion both geographically and from a product / service offering perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new business and residential customers across existing markets both in-person and by phone.
  2. Respond promptly and professionally to incoming leads from new and existing customers, using a consultative sales approach to understand the customer’s needs to provide a solution.
  3. Proactively engage with existing customers to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
  4. Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to secure new business.
  5. Develop and manage a sales pipeline / funnel.
  6. Process sales orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain detailed records of sales transactions and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  8. Stay updated on product developments, competitive landscape, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.
  9. Solicit feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and contribute to service enhancement efforts.
  10. Pro-actively and continually communicate and collaborate with the Clearwave team on wins, losses, trends, and opportunities as they arise.
  11. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions as needed.
  12. Assist with marketing efforts including suggesting tactics and content, assistance with social media, digital advertising etc.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Energetic, self-motivated and driven.
  2. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a collaborative team player.
  5. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  6. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  7. Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
  8. Technical aptitude and familiarity with internet technology and basic networking concepts would be ideal but is not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
