Job description

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Account Director within our TA Connections division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team supporting a portfolio of high value clients with a multi-regional footprint. The Account Director will focus on developing and implementing strategies to maximize savings and value for money for our clients while securing a healthy margin for our company.

As an Account Director you will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $119,000 – $125,000 CAD

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for the client regarding all matters
  • Leading on contracting matters between the airline and hotels
  • Owning of SLA's and responsible for providing reporting to ensure compliance
  • Managing and mentoring a team responsible to deliver against growth plans and key initiatives
  • Coordinating the involvement of other cross functional teams required to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations: Sourcing, Finance, Market Research, Implementations, Operations, Customer Service and Information Technology.
  • Preparing, delivering and presenting all required deliverables
  • Working with the Data Analytics team to identify trends and savings opportunities
  • Participating in product development by sharing feedback and user reviews
  • Giving visibility to the client about the opportunities and risk related to contracting, operations and Project Status.
  • Capturing any issue, concern or question regarding operations in order to obtain satisfactory feedback to the client
  • Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Leading solution development efforts that best address customer needs.
  • Evaluating the results of current accounts, identifying unmet customer needs, monitoring competitive products, analyzing and relaying customer reactions and sharing all acquired knowledge with the Account Management team and Leadership Team.
  • In depth understanding of the needs of client’s operations as well as understanding their accommodation requirements
  • Establishing strong relationships with hotel and transportations vendors
  • Supporting the Customer Service team with escalations involving vendors

Qualifications & Skills

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Aviation and Hospitality Industry.
  • Excellent people skills and a customer-focused approach to establish partnerships/alliances
  • Significant experience in engaging and facilitating dialogue with C-level and senior executives
  • Excellent time management and follow-up skills
  • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
  • Experience based “Issue Resolution” skills that facilitate dialogue across all levels of a business including IT and Operations.
  • Strong analytic and strategic skills to assist in the development of value propositions and customer segmentation strategies
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) is required and a Master’s program is preferred.
  • 7+ years of management/leadership experience in sales or customer success
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
  • Travel up to 40%
