Our client is a successful Canadian owned operator that has been providing businesses in Canada with carrier-grade wireless broadband, voice and data communications services since 2001. As a national broadband service provider, we own and manage our wireless IP network in 46 major markets across Canada, serving more than 6,200 customer locations.

Our client has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to find them an exceptional Director, Strategic Accounts. ROSS is an innovative leader in Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), HR Technology, Recruitment and HR Professional Services. Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to a Regional Sales Manager and working closely with a team of Account Executives, the person in this newly created role will be responsible for reaching out and connecting with our client base on a regular basis. They will have a dual focus of supporting retention and identifying and qualifying opportunities to expand existing capacity or add new services to address new or changing business requirements. Once the rep has engaged the right contacts at a client to articulate the opportunity, they pass it on to the Account Executive of record on the account who is responsible for any proposals, contract negotiations, and implementation support required by the sales team. This individual will be responsible for meeting formal revenue increase and retention targets.

Required skills and experience:

  1. 2-3 years of successful Inside sales, account management and/or business to business sales experience.
  2. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and ability to grow/enhance existing business relationships.
  3. Strong business acumen.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high volume of activities.
  5. Strong time management.
  6. Telecom experience (ideally in sales) is considered an asset.
  7. Demonstrated ability to grow business by increasing sales to existing customers.
  8. Experience managing client contact and follow up with a CRM, preferably Microsoft Dynamics is a definite asset.
