Job description

At Stingray, creativity, collaboration, and innovative technology are the pillars of our DNA. Are you ready to rock your career by joining a growing company, a team of music enthusiasts in a stimulating and fun work environment?

You know K-Rock. We’re Newfoundland’s Classic Rock with Campbell, Candice and JLaC. But now, it’s time for us to get to know YOU.

We have a rare opportunity to join our team this summer, Rocking the Road for 2026. What does that mean? It means hitting the highways and broadcasting back to K-Rock from the biggest events this summer. Hanging out with the K-Rock Nation in the metro area’s hottest spots. Oh, and linking our audience up with that all-important, in-demand K-Rock swag! You’ll also work closely alongside our sales team to bring our clients’ messages, products and services to life through on-air broadcasts and K-Rock’s social media presence.

It’s an exciting, varied position, perfect for someone who meets the following criteria.

We’re looking for someone that can

  • Deliver K-Rock and our clients’ messages with personality and enthusiasm!
  • Work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from mid-June to Labor Day. Plus, additional dates as required.

The successful applicant should have the following qualities, attributes and experience level

  • Minimum 1 year of broadcast or promotions experience.
  • Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and passion to win.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Outgoing personality.

If you are looking for an exceptional workplace and have what it takes to fill this position, send your resume to careersnl@stingray.com.
