3rd Class Power Engineer

Opportunity for a 3rd Class Power Engineer at our Lethbridge, AB location. The hourly wage for this position is $41.33 per hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Operation of boilers and ammonia systems
2. Maintenance of boilers and auxiliary equipment
3. Monitor and coordinate corrective actions for equipment and systems
4. Maintain accurate records of boiler house activities
5. Respond to fire alarms
6. Respond to first aid emergencies

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Valid First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
3. Experience in operating large steam boilers and large ammonia refrigeration systems
4. Ability to work independently and take appropriate action where circumstances warrant
5. Mechanical aptitude / skills
6. Excellent written, documentation, computer and verbal communication skills
7. Willing to work shifts and overtime
