We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of plumbing projects.

Duties

1. Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures.
2. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
3. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform plumbing tasks.
4. Support the team in welding tasks as needed for pipe connections.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
6. Develop mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, including HVAC components.
7. Apply basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
8. Collaborate with team members on various projects, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow in the trade.

Skills

1. Basic understanding of plumbing concepts and practices.
2. Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
3. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
4. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen interest in building and maintaining systems.
6. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
7. Willingness to learn new techniques and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.03 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
