Reporting to the Manager ‑ Ambulatory Mental Health and Supportive Care Services, the successful candidate will provide psychosocial assessments, counselling and crisis interventions for patients and their families and advocacy for patients needing immediate assistance while in hospital including necessary post discharge arrangements on inpatient units. As part of a multidisciplinary health care team, the successful candidate will practice within the standards of the Ontario College of Certified Social Workers and the Mission Statement and Code of Conduct of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
