Job description

It is a condition of this posting that your home unit can accommodate your temporary absence in the event

Under the general direction of the Manager ‑ Health Records, the Clerk 2 is responsible for performing quantitative analysis on patient records and the completion of an incomplete records notification which indicates physician record requirements according to Hospital policy and provincial legislation. Performs all scanning related functions including prepping of patient records, scanning of patient records, and electronic moving of patient reports.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate from a Medical Office Administration Program or equivalent
  2. Familiarity with Meditech Scanning application and other software programs
  3. Must have working knowledge of medical terminology
  4. Proven track record of compliance with the Code of Conduct
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  6. Ability to work well under pressure with a minimum of supervision
  7. Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
  8. Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  9. Willingly floats and functions throughout the department
  10. Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy while processing high volumes
  11. Team player with ability to achieve results working in a cooperative manner

Salary Range: $25.528 to 26.178
