Our world-class acute care facility with 425 beds serves the people of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario. Our region has a population of over 250,000 residents scattered over a geographical area the size of France.
As a teaching hospital, we are proudly affiliated with Lakehead University and Confederation College and are a host training facility for students from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, as well as other medical schools.

Community Commitment Program for Nurses
TBRHSC is an approved participant in the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) offered through Health Force Ontario. The CCPN provides a $25,000 incentive grant to eligible nurses in exchange for a 24-month commitment to an eligible employer.

Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (SPEP) program
The Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (the program) is a partnership program between the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), Ontario Health and CNO approved organizations. TBRHSC is an approved employer for the SPEP program.

Salary Range: $35.041 to $35.970
Employment Conditions
The Health Sciences Centre strives to ensure the safety and security of the patients, visitors, employees and assets.
