Supply Chain, at the Chalk River Laboratories (CRL) procures services and construction type contracts in support of the various CNL sites. It’s a wonderful opportunity for a young individual to work alongside and support our Contract team and learn the many challenges and opportunities Supply Chain brings.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing and organizing correspondence.
  • Performing data entry and creating documents.
  • Assisting with filing projects by following a prescribed set of direction.
  • Assisting with select duties as required by Management.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Education:
    • Supply Chain related program or a business program.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Intermediate skills utilizing Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel is required.
    • Ability to demonstrate skills in organization, communication, multitasking, teamwork and customer service.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility Required:
    • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”

Location of Work - Remote:

CNL works with employees across Canada to enable a remote workforce where possible. Our work-from-home employees are provided with the equipment required to be successful: laptop, monitor, external keyboard and mouse, etc. Of course, we always love a visit to the site when possible!
