Work Location: Various Locations

Age: 16 years of age or older and registered to return to secondary or post-secondary studies in September 2025.

Salary Rate (effective May 2025)

  • Summer Institute or Corporate Student: $16.20/hour plus 4% vacation pay (students under 18 years and have not completed the Secondary School Graduation Diploma)
  • Summer Institute: $17.20/hour plus 4% vacation pay (students 18 years and over or students who have completed the Secondary School Graduation Diploma)
  • Corporate Student: $20.00/hour plus 4% vacation pay (students 18 years and over or students who have completed the Secondary School Graduation Diploma)
  • IT Summer Co-op Student: $22.50/hour plus 4% vacation pay (students 18 years and over or students who have completed the Secondary School Graduation Diploma)

We are now accepting applications for the 2025 Summer Student – Administrative & Clerical Support position. Summer positions within the Board's administrative departments including, but not limited to, Plant Services, Information Technology, Business/Finance, Human Resources, and other general clerical assignments.

Hiring will take place on an ongoing basis (March-July), as needs arise.

Important Information For CUPE 1734 Members

LA.11.7 Those twelve (12) month employees filling vacancies as a result of their applying to a job posting are to remain twelve (12) months at their position. Ten (10) month employees are to remain in their position until the end of the school year.
