Eligibility
This posting is open to Permanent Teachers and Probationary Teachers currently employed by Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.

Salary Range
$51.25/hour per OECTA Collective Agreement, Article 24.15

Closing Date
April 14, 2025 at 4pm

Assignment
The assignment will be scheduled to a maximum of 110 hours, during the period from July 2, 2025 through July 30, 2025.
Note: Summer positions are dependent on Ministry program approval, access to sites, program enrolment, funding and dates are subject to change.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts in D2L and OELC
  • Upload student records from OELC to D2L
  • Respond to inquiries from secondary school guidance counsellors regarding the registration process.
  • Respond to inquiries from summer school teachers regarding D2L system errors.
  • Collaborate with teachers on D2L course creations and provide instructions on special features of D2L.
  • Respond to summer school administration regarding questions about student attendance and submissions.

Qualifications

  • Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
  • Intermediate/Senior Qualifications
  • Experience with the D2L platform, an asset
  • Experience with Secondary School e-Learning courses, an asset.
