Hours of Work*: Days of work vary; 8:45am - 5:00pm

Hourly Rate: $33.593 – $42.143/hr

  • These hours are dependent on the operational requirements of the organization.
  • Mount Carmel Clinic operates out of multiple locations; you may be required to work in other areas.

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for providing technical X-Ray services and electrocardiograms, as directed by clinicians.

Qualifications

Education

Registered member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).

Service Delivery Skills, Expertise And Experience

Minimum (2) two years’ experience in the X-Ray field.

Proven ability to work independently in direct client service situations.

Proven knowledge and ability in critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus work-related activities to effectively and efficiently achieve service goals and produce expected results/outcomes.

Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture and traditions and the impact of colonization on the health and well-being of Indigenous individuals and families.

Communication

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in the use of computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite.

Assets

  • Multiple Languages
  • Experience in an inner city community setting
  • Experience working with service specific programs such as; EMR, eChart, and Accuro.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge and Experience working with Students and/or Volunteers.
  • Links/Relationships with Community Resources.
