Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Inspector to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
2. Give practical advice on constructional matters.
3. Inspect construction, including temporary works, to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
4. Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
5. Direct Inspectors and ensure performance.
6. Assist in or measure work done when required.
7. Observe site safety procedures.
8. Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings.
9. Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare snag lists and handover to operating authority.
10. May administer welder qualification tests.
11. May provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors.
12. Performs work in a safe manner and is cognizant of public safety.
13. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Diploma or Degree in Civil, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
2. Minimum 12 years related construction supervision experience on roads, bridges and utilities projects.
3. Preferably with related work experience in Bahrain, or GCC in an engineering consulting firm.
4. Knowledge and experience using computer software.
5. Good oral and written communication skills.
6. Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
7. Commitment to safe work practices.
