The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities

1. Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain application programs; devise and modify programs to resolve system or coding problems.
2. Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
3. Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
4. Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and information technology requirements.
5. Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
6. Participate in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
7. Understand and use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems. Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria.
8. Prepare system documentation. Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.
9. Develop and execute test automation scripts where applicable to improve testing efficiency.
10. Participate in post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and improve testing processes.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
2. Development experience with programming languages
3. SQL database or relational database skills
