Junior Cyber Security Engineer (Bahrain National)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Junior Engineer with a strong understanding of network security and data security. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security controls to safeguard our clients’ infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Security:

• Assist in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
• Support in performing network traffic analysis to detect and mitigate threats.
• Help enforce network segmentation, access controls, and secure network design principles.
• Monitor and respond to network security incidents in coordination with senior engineers.

Data Security:

• Support in implementing data loss prevention (DLP) strategies to protect sensitive information.
• Assist in the deployment and management of encryption technologies and secure data storage solutions.
• Monitor for data breaches and assist in incident response and forensic analysis.
• Enforce compliance with data security policies and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
