Job Title: IT Specialist (Infosec/Network)

The selected candidate will be part of the Security Department at Navcomtelsta Bahrain, working in a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.

About the Role:

• This IT Specialist role requires utilizing IT-related experience to demonstrate four key competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
• A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing users with guidance on types of systems and system advantages.
• Ensuring the security and reliability of information systems.
• Developing Information Assurance risk assessments.
• Monitoring user account information for potential security risks.

Requirements:

• Obtaining and maintaining an interim and/or final TOP SECRET w/ SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty is mandatory.
• Meeting the qualification requirement for the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework 722 work role Information Systems Security Manager, proficiency level Intermediate, is essential.

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
