JOB PURPOSE
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and managing the HR department by defining, developing, and implementing HR plans, policies, and procedures. He/she contributes to the development of corporate HR provisions to meet business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement the general HR strategy as set by the group and support the development of local HR initiatives.
- Create action plans based on operational needs to support growth or address issues and synchronize these needs with all HR functions.
- Monitor HR functions to ensure compliance with local labor laws and adherence to established standards and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal teams to ensure the smooth provision of HR services across the organization.
- Manage the recruitment process for key positions, coordinating with the recruitment team to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
- Conduct regular visits to departments and shops to engage with employees and foster the group's culture.
- Contribute to preparing the HR department's annual budget and assist in implementing projects and events accordingly.
- Support the creation and oversight of operational metrics to measure the department's effectiveness across functions.
- Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts in alignment with the company's internal rules and regulations.
- Develop and analyze regular HR reports to provide insights into key HR matters.
- Contribute to developing targeted attraction and retention strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, including career development and wellness programs.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in the local language is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR related software.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Law, or Psychology, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
General Experience
Seven to nine years of experience in Human Resources, or a similar role.
Managerial Experience
Four years of experience in managerial role.
