Floor Manager, Time Out Market | Majid Al Futtaim Properties | Asset Management Bahrain

ROLE SUMMARY
Time Out Market is the division of Time Out Group that brings food and cultural experiences to life for our guests, readers, and clients. The Floor Manager takes the lead in ensuring that the best of the city under one roof provides each of our guests and team members a memorable experience with each visit.

ROLE PROFILE

1. Maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency in accordance with the company’s expectations, while maintaining compliance with country laws.
2. Focus on succession management, training, and development of all Market employees.
3. Delegate responsibility to the management team as needed and enforce existing policies consistently.
4. Oversee and participate in the hiring, training, supervision management, coaching, counseling, and evaluation of all members of the market team.
5. Promote organization in industry, manufacturing, and/or trade associations.
6. Work closely with the General Manager, Public Relations, and Marketing teams on plans that result in optimum recognition and maximizing the number of covers for the Market.
7. Protect and enhance the value of all Market assets through appropriate programs in maintenance, security, housekeeping, and through the capital budgeting process alongside the General Manager.
8. Process the weekly schedule and payroll for the hourly staff.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of restaurant operations experience required.
3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent leadership skills.
5. Very good level of the English language.
