Job Purpose:
The Systems Specialist - Fircosoft will optimize, maintain, and enhance the Fircosoft Sanction Screening system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, minimizing false positives, and maximizing operational efficiency.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
System Configuration and Optimization:

• Develop and modify Fircosoft screening rules, watchlist configurations, and fuzzy logic parameters.
• Fine-tune detection rules to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Ensure seamless integration with external data sources such as regulatory watchlists and customer databases.

Compliance and Performance:

• Align the Fircosoft system with international sanctions regulations (OFAC, UN, EU) and internal compliance policies.
• Monitor system performance and address potential risks or outdated rules.
• Provide support during audits and regulatory inspections related to the sanction screening process.

Advanced Analytics and Automation:

• Analyze screening results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Automate repetitive tasks in sanction screening processes to enhance efficiency.
• Configure alerts for critical thresholds and ensure proactive resolution of performance issues.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with IT, compliance, and operational teams to ensure smooth system operations.
• Generate detailed performance reports and maintain documentation on system configurations and updates.

Qualifications and Experience
Education:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Finance Systems.
• ACAMS certification or equivalent is highly preferred.

Experience:

• 8+ years in AML/CTF technology systems, with proven expertise in managing Fircosoft solutions.
• Experience in rule configuration, system optimization, and compliance alignment for sanction screening systems.
• Strong understanding of global sanctions regulations (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU).

Skills:

• Proficiency in system tuning and automation techniques.
• Advanced data analytics and reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues efficiently.
