Job Description:

1. Analyze and propose alternatives to modify or expand the instrumentation and control system that are necessary for production optimization.
2. Identify the list of jobs needed in instrumentation and control for production optimization, including the identification of the resources that will be needed for its implementation.
3. Implement programming logic and required equipment changes.
4. Supervise the correct use of the resources in your charge, seeking to maximize their efficiency, care, and life cycle.
5. Carry out the work in accordance with the company's policies, guidelines, legal orders, regulations, and procedures.
6. Assure the application of the controls of Security and Care of Environment necessary for the execution of the tasks.
7. Manage resources for the execution of tasks (materials, equipment, services, inputs).
8. Ensure the correct use of assigned tools and equipment.
9. Talk directly with the supplier in order to find the solution of the issues.
10. Ensure the correct classification of the waste generated by the work carried out at their charge.
11. Supervise the correct execution of the work of contractors and in accordance with the company procedures.
12. Elaborate the technical bases of services that are necessary for the execution of instrumentation and control services.
13. Perform the backups of the PLCs programs, Robot programs, and HMI files.
14. Analyze, support and lead the solution of problems arising in the production process, finding the root cause of the issues.

Qualifications:

• Technical education (electromechanics, automation)
• +3 years of experience in production/maintenance related positions, with 2 years in automation department focusing on efficiency improvements.
• Advanced skills in PLC
• Advanced skills in robots (Kuka, ABB)
• Advanced skills in electricity, medium voltage, high voltage
• Good knowledge of 5S
• Intermediate English
• Teamwork skills
• Able to solve problems fast and efficiently.
• Industrial instrumentation (sensors and actuators).
• Understand and design electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
