About the job

Konvert is looking for mechanics to strengthen the team at Unilin Avelgem in 2 shifts (alternating morning shift 5-13h and afternoon shift 13-21h). At this location, vinyl flooring is produced.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

1. With your sharp diagnostic skills, you investigate the cause of mechanical malfunctions in the machinery. Your mission is to solve the problems and bring the machines back to life!
2. Preventive maintenance is your secret weapon for reliable and powerful machines. You ensure they are always in top condition.
3. You identify opportunities to increase efficiency and implement innovative changes.
4. Your attention to detail is unparalleled. You keep accurate detailed documentation of all your maintenance and repair work. Every screw, every wire, and every adjustment is carefully recorded.

Who are we looking for?

1. Collaboration is your second nature. You work hand in hand with other technicians and departments to ensure smooth production flow.
2. A BSO or TSO diploma in a technical field or a comparable level of knowledge and experience. We believe in the power of experience and talent, so if you can demonstrate the skills, a diploma is just the beginning of your story.
3. Your communication skills are as sharp as your technical skills. You can communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, in English.
