Head of Modern Trade

As Head of Modern Trade, you are responsible for the business development at various retailers, across all relevant key performance indicators such as net sales, net contribution, free cash flow, market share, and penetration. You will be leveraging resources at your disposal (A&P, TT, Field, Category expertise, Promo) and in close collaboration with relevant functions, as per the company strategic plan (Annual Operating Plan).

You will be coaching and developing your team of Key Account Managers (KAM) and Sales Assistants for optimal performance and customer satisfaction. As Head of Modern Trade you will be reporting into the Retail & E-commerce Director.

Your main responsibilities are:

1. Setting, updating and implementing the channel and customer strategy (with the other leaders of the Sales function)
2. Acting as a point of escalation for customer negotiations
3. Being accountable for smooth and compliant Customer Operations (Legal, Order To Cash (OTC), CRM)
4. Being accountable for S&OP process (forecast bias, data accuracy), and KAM contribution to other key company processes.
5. Budget owner for the specified channel & customers (A&P, TT, HOO)

About you

You bring a successful track record in commercial roles, with tangible results and a solid experience in people management. You are perfectly trilingual in Dutch, French and English.
