Heidelberg Materials Belgium is momenteel op zoek naar een

CREDIT CONTROLLER

om het team te versterken op ons hoofdkantoor gelegen in Eigenbrakel.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

• You analyse the financial positions of the customers and work actively for the recovery of the debts and to minimize the financial risk (mainly by phone).
• You report about the actions done and the open cash position.
• You work closely with administrative and sales departments to ensure the correctness and the recovery of the outstanding invoices.
• You handle outgoing reminders to customers.
• You negotiate payment plans with customers.
• You handle the lawyer issues or preparation of the files for issues.
• You participate for registering and solving ongoing disputes, closely with Sales Departments.
• You report to the Head of Credit Management.

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor degree in Accounting or relevant experience in Accounts Receivables or commercial environment.
• You have a strong experience as Credit Controller in the industrial sector.
• You have strong communication skills and ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You are accurate, efficient and organized with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• You have good negotiation skills and sound decision-making.
• You are calm and have a confident manner to handle potential uncomfortable conversations.
• You are able to work under pressure and with deadlines.
• You are a team player but can also work independently.
• You are dynamic and result driven.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and French. Knowledge of English is an asset.
