Account Manager Oncology/Ophthalmology

As an Account Manager your mission is to drive company performance in designated areas, meeting and exceeding sales goals for assigned brands. You’ll be responsible for the company's performance in the Mid-South of Belgium (Namur, Charleroi, Dinant,...). You will play a critical role in executing customized plans for healthcare professionals (HCPs), with a focus on Oncology/Ophthalmology, to improve long-term relationships with target customer groups.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performance Management:
    Responsible for local sales targets, develop action plans how to reach the targets and ensure efficient resource allocation based on segmentation and targeting strategy.
  2. Market information:
    Search, gather and analyze market information, new information regarding the competition, HCP’s, … in order to stay up to date and ensure relevant information is shared with the Bayer organization.
  3. Customer interaction:
    Inform, influence and convince target customers in line with the marketing and sales strategy.

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree with preferably a (para) medical background with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in account management.
  • Strong communication skills in national language (French) and in English.
  • Strong digital mindset, capabilities and confidence towards multichannel usage.
  • Excellent ability to think economically and act accordingly.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt quickly to changes and learning agility.
  • Very good relationship (networking) skills and the ability to organize yourself.
  • High independence and intrinsic motivation.
